Who Does She Think She Is?

Directed by Pamela Tanner Boll

In this modern world, women often feel the need to choose between mothering and working; between their child’s well-being and their own.  This documentary by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Pamela Tanner Boll (producer, Born Into Brothels) features five fierce women who refuse to choose.  The film also explores the dichotomy between the age-old legacy of women worshipped as muses, while most people can’t even name a handful of female artists.

Critical Response

“Five female artists explore the competing demands of muse and family in [this] engaging documentary about the struggle to create art while nurturing life.” - Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times
