Teacher Workshops

Workshops are scheduled in conjunction with special exhibitions periodically throughout the year. These sessions are designed to introduce exhibits to the teachers and to discuss related teaching methods. The Education department sends flyers and emails to the schools when a workshop is scheduled.

Teacher In-Service

Groups of teachers can come to the Brooks to learn how to use art to enrich the subjects they teach. Teachers will receive information about the School Tour program. In-service programs are scheduled upon request.

Teachers’ Advisory Committee

The Teachers’ Advisory Committee was established to help the Brooks’ Education department meet the needs of Mid-South teachers.

For additional information about any of the resources available for teachers, please contact the Education department at 901.544.6215 or e-mail edu@brooksmuseum.org.
