This group of committed Memphians is empowered to support their city from anywhere. By supporting Memphis' art museum and its community-based programming, the National Council helps the city of Memphis grow and thrive.

Generational impact

Memphis Art Museum’s education programs serve more than 20,000 school-aged children annually, many from Title I schools, providing 21st century skills like empathy, tolerance, and critical thinking.

New cultural legacy

Expecting 150,000 new visitors, $100M in economic impact, and 30,000 school-age children impacted annually, the new Memphis Art Museum opens in 2026.

Vibrancy in Memphis

Increased safety and energy downtown through year-round community programming and extended hours.

The National Council will connect Memphians living across the country back to Memphis, to the arts, and to one another.
