Join us for our second art history lecture taught by Professor Rebecca Howard.
Lesson description: This lecture will consider early forms of writing and visual communication. We will view and delve into the histories of works from ancient Mesopotamia, including the Babylonian, Assyrian, and Sumerian civilizations, as well as ancient Egypt.
Lectures will be taught in the education studio at the Brooks Museum of Art. Limited seating available. Tickets are $20 for purchase or free for Brooks docents. More information on becoming a docent is available here.
