Join us Sunday, November 10th for a closer look at The Grand Canal from the Campo San Vio, painted in 1728 by Canaletto. Led by art history professor Mallory Sharp, we’ll spend each Art Club learning about the artist, their influences, the historical context, and other fascinating details that give us a fuller understanding of the diverse artworks on view at Memphis' art museum.
Mallory Sharp received her PhD in the History of Art and Architecture from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2024 and is currently an instructor in the Art History department at the University of Memphis.
