Join us on November 15 at 5p to hear Artist Thomas Jackson (b. 1971, Philadelphia) speak about his multidisciplinary practice that spans landscape photography, sculpture, and kinetic art. He will discuss his outdoor installations, found everywhere from sandy beaches to lush forests, and his recent creations in environments simulating the conditions of the natural world. This talk is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Thomas Jackson: Chaotic Equilibrium, part of the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art’s Rotunda Projects series.
The reception will begin at 5p in the Brooks Cafe with the talk to follow in the Auditorium at 6p.
