Lesson description: In this lecture, we will discuss the art and architecture of Classical Greece and that of the Roman Empire. Closely considering the new political and educational climates that defined these centuries, we will discuss key works of sculpture, painting, ceramics, and architecture that significantly influenced art making in the western world.

Lectures will be taught in the education studio at the Brooks Museum of Art. Limited seating available with tickets for $20 or free for our Brooks Docents. More information on becoming a docent available here.
