Top 2017 Mid-South Scholastic Art Awards Winners

The Mid-South Scholastic Art Awards is an annual juried student exhibition presented by the Brooks and the Brooks Museum League. The Awards honors regional students, in grades seven through 12, for exemplary artworks by recognizing their outstanding achievements in a competitive annual exhibition.

Local and prominent figures in the visual arts look for works that exemplify three core values: originality, technical skill, and the emergence of personal voice or vision. Click here to meet this year's judges.

Gold-key winning artwork continues on to national adjudication in New York City with the potential to earn national awards.  For their efforts, students are awarded cash prizes and scholarship opportunities. Since the inception of the competition students have been awards millions of dollars in scholarship money for college.
