Teacher Workshops

In order to strengthen relationships with and provide professional development opportunities for educators, Memphis's art museum hosts teacher in-service meetings and workshops throughout the academic year.  The opportunities are available for teachers in the Memphis-Shelby County School District and area municipal school districts, as well as private and parochial schools. This programming provides educators with curriculum connections to the visual arts, encourages dialogue between classroom and museum educators, and provides lesson ideas that teachers can use in their classrooms.
